Ok, here is my first dating update. Rule #1... Tell the girl your going out with the truth if you live with your parents. Its not the best situation, but its not horrible. What is horrible is when you tell the girl its your house and your parents are just visiting for a few days, and then she figures out on her own that its their house. Rule #2... Dont offer to buy dinner or concessions if you dont have any money. Its not rude to just go to a movie and watch the movie. It is a bit rude to offer to get drinks and popcorn, and then stand there and look dumb when you only have $3 and the stuff costs $8. It is rude to stand and wait for your date to figure out that she needs to come up with the rest of the money. Rule #3... Dont take a girl to a scary movie when she says she doesnt like scary movies. Its totally ok to say that you would like to see it but you would rather see it with friends who are interested, and then go to a movie that is ok. Its not ok to take her to a movie she is really grossed out in, and for the girls... its totally ok to decide half way through the movie that you dont really care to finish and decide to leave.
So.. those of you who are following this... you can pretty much figure out how this date turned out. NO SECOND DATE!!!... Note to self.... don't say yes to just about anyone for a date. Make sure you know what you are getting into!!!!

You should totally have fun with these losers! You knew the date was a flop not too far into it, you should have played it up and gave him something to tell his friends about...the crazy chic he had a date with!
